Light chooses what is visible. It reveals space or just leaves it in the dark, creating shadows and tension. In this performance, Gilles Pollak searches for a theatre of light. How can you play with different kinds of light? Light from a light bulb, a fluorescent tube, a disco ball or a high street lamp. In lightparticles inc., playing with light offers a glimpse of how the magic of theatre is created.

With just a suitcase full of lamps, Gilles leaves the stage and invites you to a place in the theatre where the audience would normally never go. There, the lamps engage in a surprising game with each other and create a whole new world of imagination. lightparticles inc. is a visual, wordless performance in which changes of light tell the story. A performance about light. With light. By light.

Gilles, together with his collection of lamps, travels exclusively by train and public transport out of ecological awareness.
