KOPERGIETERY presents: DIT IS NIET DE TITEL ('THIS IS NOT THE TITLE')

We have created a new show that is about lying. 
Although that's not quite true.

That's to say: we don't lie all the time. Not in the performance, anyway. We do other things too. Which are also fun. But not as fun as lying. Not that lying is fun. Not for everyone anyway.
Certainly not for the person being lied to. That person usually doesn't like lying. Unless that person doesn't realise it, of course.

Lying is only bad when it comes out, right? 
And lying is not the same as fooling either. But you have to say that in time. That it wasn't true. That you were lying. Or lying - making it up. As a joke.
Joke.

Lying isn't always lying either. Lying is a big word.
Sometimes it was just an idea.
Like, 'this is how it could have been'. Because that's how it is, right?
It could have been like this or like that, right? It could have been, right? 
Even if it wasn't really like that then. 
But what is really real? Who knows? Aha!

Being able to lie well is important. 
But so is being honest. Even if being honest has lasted far too long.

So we tell you now: DIT IS NIET  DE TITEL (THIS IS NOT THE TITLE) is about lying. 
But we cannot promise you that that is the truth.
