SHARK (GIF)
Frederico Araujo & Julie Mughunda
In SHARK, Brazilian actor and director Frederico Araujo transforms his fears and struggles into poetry. During the course of one hour, several questions about life and theatre emerge from the perspective of a volleybal match. With a sharp, yet ironic critical text, the performance looks at xenophobia and racism in today’s society.
After his collaboration with Kristien De Proost & CAMPO for In the Middle of Nowhere, and joining Antigone in the Amazon by Milo Rau & NTGent, the two theatre houses are now copresenting Araujo’s latest piece as part of GIF.
