During the first edition of Possible Futures in 2013, artists and public investigated together which small revolutions can make a difference to create a better, different world. Now the idea is lifted to a next level. During (im)Possible Futures the borders of the (im)possible are explored, since through confrontation with the impossible, you can create space for the possible.
(im)Possible Futures is a rejection to be satisfied with the evident. In a world of difficulties, the power of artists lies in their possibility to confront the public, without borders, with impossible, unrealistic, unfunctional, utopic of dystopic (future)scenarios. That is how art still shows its value.
(im)Possible Futures bursts out of the walls of the theatre building, hits the streets, founds an own school and reforms night life. All this to build new understandings, to gather people and ideas, to build new worlds, even – or maybe particularly – when it seems impossible, or is.
(im)Possible Futures includes: The (im)Possible Stage, The (im)Possible Road, The (im)Possible School and The (im)Possible Club.

In The (im)Possible Stage you see artists at work on, but maybe also off stage. All of them are looking for confrontation with the (im)possible in their own particular way.
The (im)Possible Road passes through Ghent, from CAMPO to Vooruit or the other way around and on the way you are allowed to peek inside at surprising locations, where artists make the impossible possible through installations, expos and videos.
(im)Possible Futures is not only a performance festival. In The (Im)Possible School, interesting speakers start conversations with students, the public, passers-by etc. Inspiring lectures, interesting classes, strong argumentations, lively discussions, active workshops and the possibility to (ex)change ideas! For this project, CAMPO and Vooruit work closely together with the University of Ghent.
An (im)possible location, (im)possible themes, (im)possible nights and artists who transform at night. To discover this, visit The (im)Possible Club at HISK Café, Charles De Kerchovelaan 189.
Prepare yourselves for some exceptional clubbing...
